The Mark

The Code has a single device, and it is always the same one: a low three-arched Cotswolds bridge with a post at either end, in dark green and gold.

It is worn many ways and never loudly. A brooch, the bridge in green enamel within a gold ring. A signet, a tie pin, cufflinks, a roundel at the lapel. Embroidered at a cuff, or on a fine chain under the shirt.

It is subtle enough to be invisible to those who do not know it, and read at once by those who do. If you have seen it without knowing what it was, that is rather the idea.
